Last Saturday morning after breakfast we got some special visitors! Gigi brought HattieJo over for a little playtime to start our day. Gigi clipped the littles’ fingernails (that’s just one of the many chores she helps me out with around here!). HJ also got a lesson in what happens if we see a belly button in our house! I absolutely can not resist an opportunity to blow raspberries on a soft little baby belly! Blowing raspberries and giggling with the boys is one of our favorite things to do.
As you can see HJ thoroughly enjoyed this game too! (And I think her and Tyler (batman) are a little smitten with each other!)
Saturday afternoon we headed out to the parade. One thing I love about being from a family with such deep roots in a small town is that someone we were with knew someone in almost every group that walked or rode past. We were showered with a constant stream of candy and “hey!”s. The parade was great this year and the kids all did great and had a blast. None of them loved the loud noises but they were ok since they had their Santa hats to cover their ears. Ryan was the most intimidated by the noise but he was fine once he got in his “Paymie”' or “Awie”s arms.
